Home - Gloucestershire Seniors Cricket Club

One of the biggest names synonymous with the meat Industry,
Lord Vestey, has died aged 79. Lord Vestey was a well known
figure in Gloucestershire life and the sporting scene, being a long-term
Chairman of Cheltenham Racecourse and President of Gloucestershire Gipsies, whose home ground is on his Stowell estate.
Stowell Park has hosted numerous Gloucestershire 'Seniors' and Gipsy
cricket games over the years, and recently Chris Coley
paid tribute to the great man on Radio Gloucestershire.
